iOS 14.0.1 is the first software update of the 14th iOS generation. It's 172,5 MB large and brings bug fixes for your iPhone and iPad.

You can update to iOS 14.0.1 right now and fix the image not loading in widgets bug. Just open Settings and browse for General and tap on Software Update.
