How to display the Headphone Audio Level in Real Time On iPhone (iOS 14)

An iOS 14 hidden feature allows you to display the audio level of your headphones in real time on an iPhone and iPad.

All that you have to do is to add the Hearing toggle to the Control Center and play audio on your iPhone. Tap on the Hearing toggle and an expanded view of the real time Heaphone Level feature is displayed.

The feature works with most Bluetooth headphones like AirPods, Earpods as well as third party non Apple headsets.

Important: The safe headphone listening limit is between 20 and 80 decibels (dB). The range is marked with green on the headphone level intensity visualisations.
