Touch screen not working after iOS 16 update? iPhone is unresponsive, experiencing ghost touches? Swipes are not recognized and device becomes almost unusable?

Fortunately, there is a workaround that you can use until Apple issues a permanent fix via software update!
It's available in:
1. Settings - Accessibility - Touch.
2. Turn On Touch Accommodations.
3. Select 'Use Initial Touch Location'.
4. Scroll for Swipe Gestures and turn them ON.
5. Select Standard, under Required Movement.
